Overview

Tyson.com is Tyson Foods’ corporate website, with a large volume of content managed in Drupal. The aim was to make it faster and more modern without disrupting the content team’s editing workflow or losing search rankings.

My role

At Tyson Foods, I worked on moving the front end to GatsbyJS and React, pulling content from the existing Drupal CMS through GraphQL and generating static pages. Editors kept Drupal, while visitors got a fast, responsive static site, and SEO was maintained through the migration.

Outcome

Page load times fell by 60%, the SEO score rose by 25%, and user engagement grew by 40%.
