Overview

AMP+ lets Walmart Home Office associates delegate tasks to associates in stores, with one system for assigning, prioritizing and tracking that work across Walmart locations.

My role

As a Software Engineer at Walmart Labs, I worked on the portal’s React and Redux front end and its Node.js back end, with WebSockets for real-time task updates, PostgreSQL for storage, and a permission system for the different roles involved.

Outcome

It supports more than 4,000 stores and over 100,000 tasks a day.
